If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that everyone has a story worth telling.

Mine certainly hasn't been straightforward. Life has taken me down some unexpected roads and taught me a few tough lessons along the way. Those experiences have shaped who I am today and given me a real fascination with people, their lives and the stories that make them unique.

I've been with my wife for over twenty years, married for fifteen, and together we've raised two amazing children who are now finding their own paths in life. Home is also shared with Flo, our slightly bonkers Cavapoo, who firmly believes she's in charge of the household — and to be honest, she's probably right.

When I'm not creating ceremonies, you'll usually find me out walking dogs, working on my next film or preparing a keynote speech. On paper, they seem like completely different worlds, but to me they're all connected. They're about people, connection and telling stories that matter.

That's exactly why becoming a celebrant felt so natural.

I'm proud to be a member of the Fellowship of Independent Celebrants (FOIC) with a professional diploma in both Wedding and Funeral Celebrancy. This matters to me because couples and families are trusting me with some of the biggest and most emotional moments of their lives — and that's a responsibility I take seriously.

But I also believe being a great celebrant is about much more than having a qualification.

It's about listening.

I love sitting down with couples and families and hearing about the moments that made them laugh, the challenges they've overcome, the people they've loved and the memories they'll never forget.

Those conversations are where the best ceremonies begin.

Whether it's a wedding full of laughter, a celebration of life filled with treasured memories, or anything in between, I believe every ceremony should feel genuine, personal and unmistakably yours.
